Formally trained in Interior Architecture with a background spanning commercial hospitality, senior living, and multifamily projects, she brings both a designer’s eye and a deep technical understanding of how great ideas are brought to life. She is able to think spatially, document precisely, and coordinate directly with architects and builders without missing a beat.

At Vela, Kate leads construction documentation and project coordination, producing drawings, contract document sets, and FF&E specifications that translate creative vision into spaces that are buildable, thoughtful, and well executed. On site and in the studio, Kate brings a steady presence and a deeply collaborative mindset to the design process.
