This full-home project in Downtown Minneapolis was designed for a client deeply connected to music - creating a space that balances high energy with control, and expression with restraint. The approach focused on developing a strong, immersive environment while maintaining clarity and cohesion throughout.
A refined architectural envelope was established through deep, saturated paint and cabinet refinishing, setting the tone for the entire home. From there, custom crafted furnishings, drapery, and select wallcovering were layered with precision - each element chosen for its sculptural presence, materiality, and role within the overall composition.
A restrained palette of black and white is punctuated by electric blue, deep plum, and iridescent accents, bringing rhythm and contrast to the space. Sculptural lighting, reflective surfaces, and curated moments introduce movement without disrupting the overall balance.
More immersive zones, including a dedicated music and DJ area, lean into mood and atmosphere, while primary living spaces remain grounded and composed. The result is a modern, high-end interior that feels elevated, expressive, and distinctly personal - designed to perform as both a retreat and an experience.
