The Pillsbury Castle project reimagines one of Minneapolis’ most storied historic residences through a refined, preservation-minded interior design approach. Within the Vestibule, Great Hall, and newly conceived Long Gallery, historic architecture and contemporary luxury unfold in quiet harmony. An intricate tile vestibule floor and luminous gold leaf ceiling set a tone of timeless grandeur, while modern lighting and tailored furnishings introduce warmth and livability. In the Great Hall, ornate plasterwork ceilings rise above sculptural marble tables and a dramatic two-story glass installation that draws the eye upward. Upstairs, a whimsical mural brings narrative and personality, while a 32-foot quartersawn oak bookcase anchors the Long Gallery, creating an intimate library moment within the castle’s historic envelope.
