This Excelsior guest suite was refreshed with a thoughtful approach focused on repurposing existing elements while introducing new layers of texture and color. Rather than replacing the cabinetry, the design team updated it with a bold paint color and paired it with floating solid-surface shelves and modern fixtures to rejuvenate the kitchenette.
Small spaces provided an opportunity for impactful details. A stylized geometric wallcovering highlights the alcove architecture and creates a dynamic backdrop for the homeowner’s existing lounge chair.
In the bath, updated fixtures and materials transformed the once dark shower into a spa-like retreat. Custom upholstery, powder pink painted chairs, and tailored textiles bring softness and charm to the bedroom, creating a welcoming guest space that feels both fresh and personal.
